Baxter the first of many.

Brandy, the black German Shepherd is the one who stole my heart. She now lives in Ogallala.

Tasha, a husky lab was found loose in the country, she now has her own home.

Tucker a Chesapeak Bay Retriever, is now a trained TV watch dog.

Dumped in an alley, this little girl is now Koda. She lives in Grand Island with her sister St. Bernard.

Dumped in an alley with his sister, this little boy is Avery. Avery the Lab mix now lives in Colorado with his new family.

This little shepherd girl was adopted, and then
returned to the pound because they didn't want to house train her. Now,
little Gypsy lives in Colorado, with a German Shepherd brother and a
loving family all her own! Remember when adopting a dog it is a life
long commitment. They will love you for a lifetime! Will you love them
that long in return?

Duke, the super sweet Border Collie was dumped in a
pound because his owner was moving. Spoiled all his life he was scared
and confused about what was happening to him. Now, Duke lives and plays
with a Border Collie mix sister in Colorado.

Tiny is an adorable German Shepherd mix who came from
an OOPS litter. His mom wasn't spayed and OOPS, unwanted puppies. Now
Tiny is known as Max and he lives in Colorado with his playmate Bruno
and their family. There are too many oops pups in the world, please
spay or neuter your pets.

Beau and his brother Joey were the first transport I
ever volunteered for. As I understand it Beau is in a wonderful home of
his own now.

Joey the lab and his brother Beau were on the same
transport it just goes to show that when we work together wonderful
things happen.

Belle, another transport baby. This little Black and
Tan coonhound had the strongest will to live. Even with just one leg
she has the power to capture any heart!

Joe, another Black and Tan coonhound we helped transport. Now living in Colorado and camping with his new family.

Lane, the Collie. Came along with on a transport of one of our dogs. He lives in Nebraska with his family and playmates.

Lucky, the one I couldn't help enough. Lucky came to
us in dire need of love and affection. When he got here, it was
determined that he had hearworm. His case was too severe, he didn't
make it through treatment. Please, PLEASE, keep your dogs tested and on
preventative! If Lucky's owners had....he would still be here today!

Misty the German Shorthaired Pointer, was a courtesy
listing on our site. She now lives in a wonderful home, instead of
neglected and ignored in a kennel full of weeds!

Rocky's owners didn't have time for him. So, this
little Red Dapple Dachshund came to live with us. He now lives in
Boulder, CO with a family that can't wait to make time for him!

This little girl is Little Bit. She was raised in a
puppy mill, after just one year of age she already had at least one
litter of puppies and was no longer considered good breeding stock. She
is now living the high life in Fremont NE.

Ryme is a super sweet Border Collie that no one
wanted. We took him in and as time went on it seemed that he would be
with us forever. Now I'm happy to say that Ryme is living in Grand
Island NE with a great family.

Faith, came from a puppy mill. She was once someones
pet, it seems they decided they couldn't keep her. They placed an ad in
the paper, free to good home. That's how she got to the mill, well, she
wasn't small enough for them to breed so she was again given away. All
through this she never lost faith in the human race.

What a sweet girl this Tutter is. She was adopted and
within a week the adopter moved and decided she couldn't take her with.
She has been with us a long time. Now, however, she is moving across
the state to be a service dog. Working in schools with children. What a
GREAT life she would have missed out on. UPDATE: Tutter didn't make it
as a service dog and is available for adoption once again.
Storm the Weimeraner was dumped at a high kill
facility. She was completely house trained and knew all her commands.
This big love of a girl has a GREAT new home in Colorado.

Rain, the Australian Cattle Dog. A wonderful girl that
was forced out of her home by a jealous wife. This little love has her
own home where she is spoiled rotten on pizza and plays ball whenever
she wants!

Baba
is an Australian Cattle Dog Border Collie mix. He is what we in the
rescue world call a failed rescue. Failed because we just could not
stand to part with them and kept them for ourselves! Baba now spends
his days with my husband on the road in his truck.
Summer, a courtesy listing from our site!
Bailey, a great border collie all around. He is now the "Macho" herding companion of a wonderful family in Wyoming.
Barney, a special little doxie boy that we all miss.
Simba,
poor sweet little boy. Simba and his brother are a perfect examples of
why you should always spay/neuter and VACCINATE your dogs. Their mother
came to us pregnant and unvaccinated, our vet at the time suggested
against vaccination. Sadly, at a very young age we lost both of these
boys to Parvo. The remaining two pups fought hard and lived to tell
about the need to keep your family pets fully vetted at all time.
Blue, a sweet shy little girl from TN that moved to NE to be with her new family!
Drover,
a border collie mix. While we love our time with all our fosters, we
are glad to say Drover went to a fabulous working home where he is
spoiled rotten.

the loves of his life. While they only have 2 legs and he has 4 they
are always together!
Chevron,
isn't he a doll! This is the brother to Torri O Dory. Chevron is now in
Colorado and working on being a 4H dog this summer.
Scamp...sigh. Bless you little boy!
These little doxies all came to us from a puppy mill and have moved on to happy healthy homes.

from Canada. She has a great family and is no longer the fearful dog we
first met.
This
sweet little girl we were unable to help. But we did forward her
information on to another rescue that took her and soon after she had
14 happy puppies. All have been adopted and are doing well...including
Mom!
Hope, a sweet little girl adopted to a home in NE with 2 doxie sisters.
Hubble, we miss this little boy. What a good kid he was!

people. A true love until the day he went to his forever home.

his rottie sister in Colorado, he couldn't be happier.
Mikey, poor kid. He is no longer fat and neglected. He is happy and healthy .....finally.
Koda, sweet Koday. He rules the roost with his lab sister.
